Reinforced preventive measures against Coronavirus (COVID-19)
16 March 2020
Given the recent developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Europe and Tunisia, BDO has implemented preventive measures to ensure the safety, health and well-being of its employees, as well as its customers and suppliers visiting our premises.
We follow closely the recommendations of the Ministry of Health as well as local and international authorities. These recommendations are regularly shared with our employees.
We have suspended all of our employees' business travel to high-risk areas and encourage our employees to use technology to participate in meetings with our customers.
A Telecommuting policy has also been put in place for anyone who has visited one of the zones declared to be “at risk”. This policy also applies on an optional basis to employees who have an existing medical condition which would cause them to be considered "at risk".
We have critically analyzed our service continuity plan and have taken steps to be able to activate it immediately as soon as the situation changes.
The safety of our employees and our customers remains our top priority. As the situation is evolving rapidly, a dedicated team continues to monitor the development of the situation on a daily basis as well as the guidelines and recommendations issued by the authorities.
